For this assignment, you will chose a story, create an ethical dilemma, and then resolve the dilemma using utilitarianism and libertarianism and Kant. This is NOT an essay. You are using one story and a dilemma from that story and then applying our 3 methods to that story. For utilitarianism you need to be thorough in your categories for who will be affected by the short term and long term consequences of the act and use numbers/grid for your work. For libertarianism, you need to think of every reason that a libertarian would support or be opposed to the issues in the dilemma. For Kant, you need to thoroughly go through all 10 steps.

Analyzing the Significance of Art

Overview: For your first out-of-class essay, you will select a creative visual work—photograph, painting, film, novel, poem, music video, etc.—and analyze why the art is significant and what arguments can be inferred from the piece. While it is encouraged to include personal connections to the art, be sure your arguments about its meaning are mostly universal. Because this is your first essay, and it is important to see where you are at as a writer, the guidelines for this assignment will be somewhat open-ended compared to other essays you will write this semester.
Purpose: To analyze the significance of art, make personal connections, and develop initial arguments about visual rhetoric.
Audience: Someone who might be unfamiliar with you and/or the art you have selected.

”One example of information technology that has raised lots of concerns about privacy are voice assistants. Voice assistants such as Alexa by Amazon, Google Home, Cortana by Microsoft, Siri by Apple, have been known to save audio files from customers, even when not being asked a question or command. This can be seen as a violation of privacy. Having a device monitoring everything you say aloud can be worrying or just uncomfortable to many consumers. The developers of these voice assistants are under the suspicion that they use any saved audio to gain extra data knowledge of their consumers.

We can face these issues of the violation of privacy by implementing more laws and regulations on how voice assistants can be assembled and the ways they function. It is possible to create a voice assistant device that can pertain to the requests of the users while having a respect for privacy in their homes”.

Assignment 4: Project Review

2. Identify and analyze the process you would use to close out your project.
