Earthquakes are the devastating yet highly common type of natural disaster that has caused billions of dollars in damage to properties as well as the increasing loss of life. The term, earthquakes, is a good explanation of the natural event which suddenly strikes a given area causing significant damage which varies according to the intensity of the quake as well as the local geological status. Kathmandu is Nepal’s capital city and has experienced its fair share of earthquakes. With the occurrence of this disastrous event, several people managed to survive it including one person who was kind and strong enough to share his experience. Following the sharing of the experience, an explanation of the tremors and aftershocks that resulted from the event led to further despair and panic on the part of the survivor.
