(Feel free to look at sample SWOT or Porter’s Five Forces Framework templates for ideas, but do not use a template because some applications may not be able to “read” the template you select.)  It is important to note that there are no completely right or wrong answers for this Assignment. In the end, the physicians will make the final decision, but they are looking to you to evaluate the situation from a business perspective, to have asked the right questions and to do the legwork.  Your submission will be graded based on your clear demonstration that the following have been considered:  • Competition • Customers (mix, customer demand) • Continuity of care • Value • Sources of revenue • Costs (including marketing, technology, payroll, office fit-out) • Staffing needs (propose specific roles and responsibilities) • Ethical concerns  Finally, in a concise summary paragraph or two, present your recommendation to your employers. What are the advantages and disadvantages of the status quo versus moving to a concierge care model? Does a hybrid model make sense? If so, how would you structure it, and why do you think it is the desired option? 
Remember to be clear and detailed in your responses. Your writing should follow the conventions of Standard American English (correct grammar, punctuation, etc.), and it should be logical, original and insightful. Finally, ensure that your paper fully conforms to APA Style and include a cover page and a reference page.  Requirements

• The body of the paper should be 3–4 pages (1000-1200 words) in length. A title page and a reference page should also be included but do not apply to the length requirement. • The paper should be written in an essay format, with transitions between paragraphs that discuss specific topic areas or thoughts. Include an introduction and conclusion. • Double-spaced, 12 point, Times New Roman font • Follow the conventions and mechanics of Standard American English (correct grammar, sentence structure, punctuation, etc.). • The submission should be presented in an organized, logical and unified manner and consist of superior content that is original and insightful. • Include at least one reference. Neither the course textbook nor the PBS video may count toward the reference requirement for this Assignment, but you should still cite these sources if you utilize them. All references should follow APA style format. • Meet APA style requirements throughout the submission, including title page, formatting, citations in the body of the text as well as related references. A. Analyze a documentary film of your choice, per the selection guidelines set forth in the module overview, according to concepts from each course module listed in section “E” below.  

 B. Students should draw upon text material and will show an ability to synthesize text material with personal observations. 

 C. Students should NOT use outside sources as they conduct their analysis and write the exam.  Students may only use information from the text and their own, personal analysis of the film according to the concepts they learned from the text.

D. Analyses must include an introduction (1-3 paragraphs) that addresses, but is NOT limited to the following:1) What film was chosen and why2) Your general thoughts on the film3) No more than one paragraph summarizing the plot of the film4) Preview of main points5) Thesis statement

E.  Analyses must include a minimum of one paragraph on each of the following topics:1) How do the composition, editing, lighting and objectivity of the images in the film lead to the creation of a particular reality for the viewer?   2)  How do shot, story, distance, color, and plot (if applicable) lead to the creation of a particular reality for the viewer?3) How do cut and montage lead to the creation of a particular reality for the viewer?4) How do editing, sound, and digital effects lead to the creation of a particular reality for the viewer?5) How does this film contribute to our understanding of film as a medium of illusion and persuasion and promote personal and cultural identity? 

 F.    Analyses must include a concluding paragraph that addresses, but is NOT limited to the following:

G. Additional guidelines include:1) Analysis must be three to five pages.2) Analysis must be typed in 10-point, double-spaced Arial font and follow MLA general formatting.3) Analyses are worth 200 points and will be graded according to the attached rubric. H. 1 The course project is a strategic management plan for an organization of your choosing (Intel). Please read the Course Project – Introduction page in this module before attempting this assignment. Now it’s time to select a company that you’d like to use for the course project. It’s important that you choose a company that is easily researched. You’re going to need to find information on their current business practices and makeup. That can be very hard to do with small local businesses, but easier with larger publicly traded companies. It’s also important to choose a company that you’re interested in and want to learn about. This will make the project more engaging.
For the first part of your assignment this week, write a paper that’s at least a page in length and completes the following:

• Identify a company for which you wish to develop      a strategic management plan. You may wish to conduct some preliminary      research to help you understand a little more about the company you chose.      Intel is the company we are using
• Provide      a brief description of the company including what they do, what they’re      known for, and their reputation within the current business environment.
• Provide      your reasons for selecting this company. Be thorough and specific with      your explanation. 

2 The next phase of your strategic management plan will require you to research your company’s history and existing strategic goals. Before we can make major improvements to the business, we first have to understand where they came from and what they’re currently trying to accomplish. Use reliable business sources, the company website, and any traditional appropriate sources to gather as much background information that you can. For the second part of your assignment this week, write a paper that’s at least two pages in length and addresses the following:

• Detail      the history of the business. Explain how they got their start but focus      mostly on how their business has changed over the last 15 years. Provide a      picture of how they adapt to change and any major obstacles that they’ve      had to overcome.
• Include      some information on the top executives at the company and the role that      they’ve played in those last 15 years.
• Provide      the company’s existing mission statement and code of ethics. In what way      do they articulate their ethical practices through policies and public      outreach and why is this important?
• Identify      two areas of concern ethically and explain those choices. Make sure to      discuss why you feel that are areas of ethical concern. Think critically      about where your chosen company has the potential for ethical dilemmas.      For example, an accounting firm would be concerned with fraud.
• Rewrite      your company’s mission statement. The idea is to provide clarity and set      the new strategic direction that you think the company should be moving      towards. Include a paragraph explaining the changes that you’ve made and      why.

Be sure to document your sources using APA notation. Information on APA can be found in the Online Library which is accessible through the Resources tab. 

• Create a 7-to 8-slide PowerPoint presentation (with speaker notes) using the provided template. Your presentation should include the following:
  • Slide 1: Title slide
  • Slide 2: A description of the epidemiological triangle for your disease
  • Slide 3: A graphic of the epidemiological triangle for the disease you selected. Include captions for each component of the triangle.
  • Slide 4: An explanation of the relationships between and among the agent, host, and environment.
  • Slides 5 and 6: A description of the chain of infection for the disease you selected. Explain how the disease flows from one link to the next and what can be done at various stages to break the chain.
  • Slide 7: A graphic of the chain of infection for the disease you selected. Include captions for each link of the chain.
  • Slide 8: An overview of any social or ethical issues associated with the spread of your disease or with the preventative/treatment methods.
• Use the Notes section on each slide to explain how you would present each slide to a group of health professionals.
• Support your work with specific citations from this week’s Learning Resources and additional scholarly sources as appropriate.
