legal and ethical considerations for group and family therapy 1

Legal and Ethical Considerations for Group and Family Therapy

Considering the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA), the idea of discussing confidential information with a patient in front of an audience is probably quite foreign to you. However, in group and family therapy, this is precisely what the psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner does. In your role, learning how to provide this type of therapy within the limits of confidentiality is essential. For this Discussion, consider how limited confidentiality and other legal and ethical considerations might impact therapeutic approaches for clients in group and family therapy.

Post an explanation of how legal and ethical considerations for group and family therapy differ from those for individual therapy. Then, explain how these differences might impact your therapeutic approaches for clients in group and family therapy. Support your rationale with evidence-based literature.

fin500 course module 5 2

Discussion, 2-3 paragraphs, 15 lines, no outline

Why is it important to understand the concepts of inflation, present value, and future value as Saudi Arabia moves towards Saudi Vision 2030? What are some of the important terms and concepts that managers must understand in making decisions in today’s global environment? How will these factors affect Saudi Vision 2030, if at all?

Search the SEU library or the Internet for an academic or industry-related article. Select an article that relates to any of these concepts (inflation, present value, or future value) in the context of doing business in Saudi Arabia.

For your discussion post, your first step is to summarize the article in two paragraphs, describing what you think are the most important points made by the authors (remember to use citations where appropriate). For the second step, include the reference listing with a hyperlink to the article. Do not copy the article into your post and limit your summary to two paragraphs. Let your instructor know if you have any questions and enjoy your search.

Essay 4

Requirements: Minimum 1000 words

Draft Due via Canvas: 2.23

Final Copy Due: 3.8

Assignment: Write an essay that defends a thesis you developed through a close critical reading/analysis of a poem listed on the syllabus/weekly activities and supported by at least three secondary sources. This essay still relies on textual support from the primary text, but includes at least three secondary sources that support/sustain the student’s argument. Do not confuse “critical analysis” with “summary” nor should you speak of “relating” to the poem; the goal is to develop, sustain, and advance a thesis based on a critique of the primary text but also supported by at least three secondary sources. Use the MLA International Bibliography, JSTOR, and/or Project MUSE as in Essay 3 to support your ideas and thesis.

Choose one of the poems in chapters 9-16 in Backpack Literature (excluding William Blake’s “London” and the extremely short poems or the doggerel like the satire of Shakespeare’s ‘Thou art as lovely as a summer’s day’as that will be coveredby a sample essay) and write a three to four page essay analyzing it through a close reading that takes the poem completely apart. As we did in discussing Shakespeare’s soliloquies and other speeches (and as some of you did in Essay 3) each lineof the poem should be discussed in depth to support your thesis. Examine the words and the word origins, the images, the diction and tone that build up in the poem, the structure of the poem through its rhythm, rhyme, and meter. This is a difficult assignment, though it may appear simple. Don’t wait until the last minute to begin.

annotated bibliography 759

Prior to beginning work on this assignment, review the Ashford University Writing Center website Annotated Bibliography (Links to an external site.) as well as the website and associated video tutorial on Synthesis (Links to an external site.). Then, review the Writing Center information on how a Synthesis Matrix (Links to an external site.) can be used to synthesize literature.

In this assignment, you will develop an annotated bibliography of sources associated with your topic of interest and research focus. Start with the three qualitative research studies you identified in Week 2 and the three quantitative research studies you identified in Week 3. Augment these scholarly sources with the three institutional, organizational, or governmental agency sources you identified in Week 4. Make sure that all the sources you identify and include in your annotated bibliography are relevant to your research topic. Important: if your Instructor provided feedback in Weeks 2, 3 or 4 that any of your resources were not acceptable, make sure to find replacement sources before you write your annotated bibliography. Check with your instructor if you have any questions about the suitability of your resources. These resources will form the basis of a literature review that you will write in the second Scholarly Argument course, RES7110.

Compile an annotated bibliography of the six research study articles (three qualitative and three quantitative) and the three supplemental sources you identified throughout this course. In the annotated bibliography,

  • Create an annotated bibliography for the three qualitative research articles, the three quantitative research articles and the three institutional, organizational and government agency sources you identified in previous weeks, summarizing each article or the information your found in the supplemental sources. Create a reference entry for each source in proper APA format (incorporate previous feedback you received from your instructor about proper APA formatting). Consider accessing the Writing Center’s Formatting Your References List (Links to an external site.) for more on completing a complete reference entry.
  • Explain the relevance or usefulness of each source, examine how the sources relate or link to one another, and explain how information is supported and contradicted across the sources.
  • Evaluate the evidence of quality of each source, discussing any evidence of inconsistency or bias within each source and across sources.
  • Synthesize critical findings from the nine sources in a Synthesis Matrix.

The Annotated Bibliography paper

  • Must be at least 2,500 words in length, with each source annotation being at least 250 words in length, and formatted according to the Ashford Writing Center’s APA Style (Links to an external site.)
  • Include a title and reference page for your paper. No abstract is necessary for this assignment.

Use resources listed in the Week 1 assignment to help you correctly format your paper.

Carefully review the Grading Rubric (Links to an external site.) for the criteria that will be used to evaluate your assignment.

fostering a climate of trust 2

No plagiarism and please use references. Think critically and be thorough

Many leaders fail, because they cannot bring themselves to be dependent on others. For leaders to be effective, they need to place a level of trust in the individuals under their leadership. Leaders need the support of those individuals to be successful, and trust is an integral component in the leadership mix. To operationalize these concepts, delegation must be examined. The ability to delegate is a crucial element in the successful implementation of plans and policies

In your main post:

  1. Explain the importance of enabling others to act by creating a climate of trust and shared responsibility in a criminal justice organization.
  2. Describe how you, as the leader, would ensure that all cultures and individuals are included in the creation of a climate of trust and shared responsibility in a criminal justice organization.
  3. Assess the possible impacts of failure to create a climate of trust and shared responsibility, using two criminal justice organization examples.
