Write a Self-Reflection essay that helps your audience (writing program faculty) appreciate your progress in understanding and developing strategies to address the ENGL 2 learning objectives, focusing especially on:

GELO #5: Students shall distinguish and convey inductive and deductive patterns as appropriate, sequencing arguments and evidence logically to draw valid conclusions and articulate related outcomes (implications and consequences).

Note: You are making an argument using evidence, and your goal is to convince readers that you have gained insight into what makes writing effective and that you’ve begun to develop strategies for producing effective texts.

inequality-and-poverty-development-economics

In 2013, the year for which the most comprehensive data on global poverty is available, 767 million

people, or 10.7 percent of the population, were estimated to be living below the international poverty

line of $1.90 per person per day. Around 100 million people moved out of extreme poverty from

2012 to 2013, and since 1990, nearly 1.1 billion people have escaped extreme poverty. The global

poor are predominantly rural, young, poorly educated, are mostly employed in the agricultural sector,

and live in larger households with more children. Despite progress, extreme poverty remains

unacceptably high, especially in Sub-Saharan Africa. The region now has the largest number of

extreme poor in the world, 389 million, which accounts for half of the total number of extreme poor

in the world, and more than all the other regions combined.

Critically discuss the theory that economic growth is a necessary but not sufficient condition to raise

people out of poverty. What role does distribution of national income play? If both economic growth

and inequality affect poverty levels, what does this suggest about policy?

==============================================================================================

This is an essay question based on the topic of sustainable development in the field of development economics. Plz choose to accept this question only if you know how to answer it. I also uploaded some important materials in relation to the essay question. However, more research on the topic is required. The expectation is that you add the most recent literature to your arguments. Parroting the theory will not be enough to pass this assessment. The articles that within last 10 years would be fine. Introduction, conclusion are not needed, just answer the question directly.

social status 3

Write a 500 or more word paper that provides a critical analysis and evaluation of the following questions.

What are some of your ascribed, achieved, and master statuses?

How are these different from your parents or grandparents?

Do family, work, or other activities hold the same personal identification status for you as they did for your parents or grandparents?

Additionally, in your paper discuss any differences that you notice.

Did your parents or grandparents experience different conflict or strain than you?

Discuss any differences that you notice.

What future statuses do you expect for your life?

How will these differ in personal identification and conflict or strain from you current statuses?
