perspective-from-the-journal-annal-of-the-propagation-of-faith-1

Hi Everyone, I am doing a paper on challanges of missionaries in Vietnam. Apparently, my essay lack about 3-4 pages of my own intepretation on the Journal Annal of the Propagation of Faith. Here is what my professor is looking for:

From certain accounts found in the APF, you need to come up with a thesis. Paraphrase certain events in the APF. You may use some direct quotations from the source. Throughout this section, you want to weave in the works of other scholars from your lit review to support your interpretation of the data. Or, use your own interpretation based on your own finding in the APF to challenge those scholars.

For example, if your research on the church in Vietnam, most of the secondary sources will talk about Catholicism as the tool of French imperialism. Or, Vietnamese Catholicism is French Catholicism. Your reading from APF may find similar evidence of how missionaries wanted to turn Vietnam into a French colony or into a Gallican church. Or, you may argue that colonization was never a part of their agenda at all. You then go further to develop your own interpretation of what their real agenda was. Such as, you argue that they were fanatic missionaries with a strong prophetic zeal, a bunch of racist French men of the eurocentric humanistic culture openly flaunting their contempt for local traditions and values, a group of idealistic but naive adherents of the outdated scholastic tradition, or a group of westerners but with innovative accommodating practices through arts and performance, etc. Whatever your interpretation is, you need to back your position with the data from APF.

I only need about 3-4 page more about the intepretation. The journal can be found online via google book through many volumes. I have attached my essay and some intepretation near the conclusion part, but I am too busy i have no time to complete. Please follow instruction, and use your own intepretation to write based on the journal Annal of the Propagation of Faith

In addition, many existing plans are being ruled as incompatible with the requirements of the PPACA and discontinued or canceled as a result. Explore and explain whether the patients will be able to continue with their physicians and the rationale behind the plan cancelation. Additionally, identify the effect of expanding state Medicaid roles and the impact it has upon cost and non-reimbursable care.

SOC 450: Solutions to Global Issues:

The Evolution of a Technological Solution

If we could remove the current boundaries of technology and look into the future, how would you use technology to resolve one of these global threats?

HIS 105: American History after 1865:

By the early 1950s, the US was a world super-power militarily and economically. The Great Depression was no more. But, two major rival powers were developing, rivals ideologically and militarily: The Cold War between the US and its allies versus the Soviet Union and its allies/clients would be the dominant international issue for the next four decades. Domestically, in the 1950s and the 1960s, the US would begin grappling head-on with major Civil Rights and economic issues, as well as a divisive conflict in Vietnam—and widespread demonstrations and some high profile assassinations.

Choose and discuss (in a full paragraph or two) one of the following two topics related to the period from the late 1940s and through the 1960s.

  1. Discuss America’s Cold War policy or strategy aimed at dealing with communism and the Soviet threat, and an example of a Cold War conflict or crisis.
    • Identify one or two Cold War strategies of the US. Describe a specific example of a conflict or crisis that was part of this Cold War strategy, and compare or contrast this to the international situation today.
    • Identify the source(s) where you read about these Cold War issues.
  2. Discuss the Civil Rights advances and struggles that took place in the 1950s and 1960s along with relevant legal developments.
    • Identify two key specific events of the Civil Rights struggle and at least one major piece of legislation or court decision.
    • Explain the historical significance of your examples and ways they have impacted our own time.
    • Identify the source(s) where you read these Civil Rights issues.
