response to the lecture 1

The lectures you have reviewed this week will once again come be helpful when you begin writing Essay 1 next week, so please read and watch them at least twice. If you haven’t please go back to the previous item in this week’s module and check them out!

For now, I just want you to reflect a little bit on what you have read so far. Please answer the following questions:

  1. Think of one time in real life that you have noticed a logical fallacy being committed (think news, speeches or commercials). What was it? Why was it an example of faulty logic? What made it illogical?
  2. Which one or two logical fallacies you learned about seemed most intriguing/interesting? Why?

Requirements:

  • Please respond in a full paragraph (5-7 sentences) for question 1 and 2.
