Theory Analysis: Erikson

This is an opportunity to take the information that you have learned in this class, the experiences you have had in other classes, as well as your own life experiences and apply them to Erikson’s stages of psychosocial development.

Using Erikson’s theory, write a three-to-four page autobiography in which you interpret each stage as it relates to your personal development. Provide specific examples of life experiences, both social and cultural, which correlate with each stage and examine how these experiences may have affected your development. Include a summary of each of Erikson’s stages in your essay.

The goal of this assignment is to help you develop a clear and deep understanding of each stage and how they relate to development.

The paper is expected to be in APA format and include a Title page and Reference page. You are expected to utilize at least three (3) references: your class text book and two psychological journals. This paper should not exceed (4) pages and not be less than (3) pages of written text. This paper is worth 100 points and must be in Times New Roman font and double-spaced.
