hypothesis testing before actually doing the test
This is your chance to understand all the pieces of hypothesis testing before actually doing the test.
Create a scenario of something you might want to test (e.g are there really 12 ounces of water in my bottle, does one light bulb really work longer than others, etc.).
Explain to someone that have never taken a statistics course, what hypothesis testing is and what are the steps in general that you do to perform your hypothesis test of your scenario. You don’t have to get too technical and need no data or values but I would at least write out your null and alternative hypothesis and state why you would be interested in your selected test. Also, state what errors you might make in terms of your scenario. In other words, what would a Type I and a Type II error be in your hypothesis test.
