Step 1 Revise your Essay Project 4 Step 1 to Paragraph Form

Use the Step 1 worksheet to explain in two academic paragraphs:

  • what text you will use
  • what it is about
  • how you will evaluate it (which criteria you plan to use)
  • what the thesis is
  • what you think your thesis will be

Write two complete academic paragraphs that answer all the questions listed in the exercise.

Write two specific questions to ask your classmates that will help you with your thesis and essay.

Step 2 Post your response

Complete the paragraphs and questions and post to the board.

Step 3 Read and respond to other students’ posts.

Read other students’ posts and respond to at least two of them. In addition to any other comments you may have, respond to the following:

  • Read at least two other classmates information
  • Answer their questions in complete academic paragraphs to help them formulate a strong thesis and essay.

Use your personal experience, if it’s relevant, to support or debate other students’ posts. If differences of opinion occur, debate the issues professionally and provide examples to support opinions.
