you are a “rookie” police officer who finds writing police reports quite boring and tedious. You understand the importance of writing a quality police report, but you find it very challenging. In fact, your supervisor has been returning many of your reports to you, as they are incomplete or need rewriting. You know this may impact your probationary status with the force.
