In your initial post this week, I’d like you to consider this statement: “Some beliefs are better than other beliefs.” These are not just religious beliefs, but any kind of beliefs.

Your post needs to make an argument as to whether this statement is correct or incorrect, and it also needs to justify or explain your opinion. You do not need to do any research for this assignment.  

Your responsive posts will be different this week. Please make use of the intellectual standards which are laid out in our chapter, and ask questions probing the Clarity, Accuracy, Precision, Relevance, Depth, Breadth, Logicalness, Significance, or Fairness of the opinion of two of your colleagues. Please be careful to be respectful. 

Please also indicate which of the intellectual standards you are attempting to inquire about: For example, your post might look something like this:  I have a question about clarity. When you said X, I’m not quite sure that I understood your meaning because of Y. Could you please clarify what you meant by X, it would be most helpful to me if you addressed Z specifically.
