  1. Select one of the interview models presented in Culturally Competent Nursing Care. Identify one patient/client and interview him/her using the model you selected. (Patient/Client A)
  2. Identify another patient and use the Addressing interview model with that person. (Patient/Client B)
  3. Based on the interviews, write a narrative paper outlining:
    1. The mnemonic used for Patient/Client A, why you chose the mnemonic you did, and the information you obtained using this interview style.
    2. The information you obtained from Patient/Client B using the Addressing model.

    4. Note: This narrative should not include information that is protected by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA).

  4. Compare and contrast the two models, advantages and disadvantages of each.
  5. Describe how you will use what you have learned moving forward.
