The health-care system and information technologies have advanced significantly recently. This development has been formed a network which connects the health-care system as an eco-system, to facilitate services. The Digital healthcare ecosystem is described as a network of health industry and technology components that impact the operation, evolution, and growth of each other while providing health care services (Oshini et al., 2021). The fast growth of the modern ecosystem has revolutionized the health care system, shifting from an organizational focus to a patient-centered approach. Digital healthcare ecosystem includes all patient care touch points, including medical, pharmaceutical, and patient data.

The objective behind digital healthcare solutions is to make healthcare more accessible. Low cost, easy access and value-based treatment are driving the growth of digital healthcare. It has risen from 55% to 80% since the pandemic began, according to Insider Intelligence’s The Digital Health Ecosystem 2021 report. The US corona virus outbreak has propelled the digital healthcare revolution. The internet revolution has enabled consumers to communicate with doctors, specialists, pharmacists, and other medical professionals at their convenience. The US healthcare system has maintained its superiority due to the widespread use of digital health.

The progress of a country’s digital health ecosystem is entirely dependent on its economic and technological development. Comparing the US to Nepal, a developing Asian nation, simplifies the claim. Most developing countries, like Nepal, are still in the digital infancy stage, making basic networking and patient privacy problematic. Nepal’s digital health ecosystem has few credible data publishes compared to the US’s. In Nepal, however, infrastructure, human labor, and technical skills are sparse. The digital divide between superpowers and developing nations is huge. An ecosystem of digital health services and information in the US is available in a few clicks, but underdeveloped nations are still looking for ways to improve health care services. In conclusion, the US digital health system is superior to those in developing nations.
