Three times this semester, you will write a reflection on something covered during lecture, discussion, or in the assigned readings. The reflection should open with a thorough description of one of the phenomena you’ve learned about. Next, you will link the phenomenon you’ve chosen to something in the real world. You might choose to give an example from your own life, the life of someone you know or a literary or media character, current events, or popular culture. The goal here is for you to creatively link something from class to something you care about outside of class, so feel free to get creative here!
