What’s the Big Idea?

According to Conley (2013), Key Content Knowledge addresses the overarching concepts and big ideas for a content area. Using the grade level and content area from Monday’s discussion, Key Cognitive Strategies, create a one-page document that responds to the following:

  • What are the big ideas for an entry-level position within your organization? Include key terms and facts employees need to know?
  • Why is the information that you identified in your overview important for students or employees to learn and know?

Use an outline form to develop your overview, and explain your choices in narrative form.

Support your statements with evidence from the required studies and your research. Cite and reference your sources in APA style.
